This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, the server automatically processes technical access data: your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page, browser type and operating system, and the referring page.

This data is required to deliver the site and to keep it stable and secure (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not merged with other data and is deleted after a short period. A data processing agreement including the EU standard contractual clauses is in place with Vercel.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how this site is used — which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. The service works without cookies and without persistent identifiers: visits are counted using an anonymized hash that cannot be traced back to you and expires automatically. No profiles are created and no tracking across other websites takes place.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding the reach of this site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you leave your email address in the newsletter section, we use it to send you occasional updates.

We use the newsletter service Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a US provider; your email address is stored there, protected by the EU standard contractual clauses. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email, and only your confirmation completes the subscription. Emails are sent from hello@sjcobin.com.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time — every email contains an unsubscribe link, or write to hello@sjcobin.com. After unsubscribing, your address is removed from the list.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw any consent with effect for the future.
